1. Delete From Within the App
You can request deletion of your JOHORA account directly in the mobile app — no need to contact us first:
- Open the JOHORA app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your request.
Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out. The deletion request is then reviewed and finalized.
2. Request by Email
If you can no longer access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us from the phone number or email registered on your account:

Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the mobile number registered to your account so we can verify your identity.
3. What Gets Deleted
When your deletion request is finalized, we permanently remove the personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your name, email address, gender, and profile photo.
- Your phone number (anonymized so it can no longer identify you).
- Saved vehicles (plate number and colour) and saved locations (addresses and map coordinates).
- Push-notification tokens.
4. What We Retain
Some records are kept in anonymized form (no longer linked to your identity) where retention is required by Saudi Arabian commercial and tax law — for example, booking and payment/invoice history needed for accounting and legal compliance.
5. How Long It Takes
Your account is deactivated immediately when you submit the request. Your personal data is then permanently removed within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
If you change your mind during this period, contact us at info@johorasa.com and we may be able to restore your account before the data is erased.
